Severne Sails
Our Surf equipment in Marsa Alam is divided into three categories: HIGHTECH FREERIDE and BEACHLINE. Additional to your booked board you may choose between the sails of your category.
In the HITECH range we offer the highest quality sails from the current SEVERNE range to suit our spot.
Wave sails for strong winds and slightly wavy conditions. For the usual medium wind crossover and freestyle sails and for light wind days the powerful freerace sails. The rig components consist of super-light carbon masts. In addition to carbon booms, lightweight aluminum booms are also used. All sails from 4.8 to 6.1 are equipped with reduced diameter (RDM) masts, which results in a noticeable reduction in rig weight and therefore better handling.
The FREERIDE range offers a good mix of price and performance. The rig components consist of Apex and Gorilla masts. For smaller windsurfers we have very light sails. All sails from 4.8 to 6.3 are equipped with reduced diameter (RDM) masts, which results in a noticeable reduction in rig weight and therefore better handling.

Race Performance without Camber! That’s what the SEVERNE NCX freeride sail stands for. Lots of power with very good manoeuvrability. It impresses with its deep profile, high aspect ratio and a large wind range with lots of control at the same time.

Severne Turbo
The SEVERNE TURBO GT freeride sail stands for breathtaking speed, early planing and ultra-light handling. Two cambers provide power in gusty conditions and give the sail the necessary drive for foiling in light winds thanks to the pre-shaped profile.
