Spot Wingfoiling EL Naaba

Our wingfoil spot is located directly in front of the center, clearly visible by the turquoise standing area. The water depth is deep enough to start with foils after about 10 meters from the beach. The wind is coming 80% side shore to cross onshore from left.

The surfers bay in front of the center is framed towards windward with a wooden jetty, which makes the wind a bit more moderate and flattens the water on the inside of the bay. Up to wind force 5, the flat water here is perfect for wingfoiling for intermediates and beginners.

The potato shaped reef and the jetty are calming the water conditions on the inside a bit. Experienced wingfoilers, however, quickly look for the open area that follows with the swells that build up. These swell waves do not break, making the first rides a pleasant experience. In moderate conditions up to 5 BFT, the wave height is 1-2 meters, but can reach 3 meters in strong winds.

Here you have a good overview of the swimming bay, the boat jetty and then our Surfers Bay. In perspective, Winger Bay appears smaller here than in reality. On the first picture you can see very well the width of the bay, about 250 – 300 meters.
